CEC and Peraton Leadership Panel Event, September 17

The Office of Outreach, Student Success, and Engagement invites all CEC, GMU STEM, and Costello College of Business students to register for the Peraton Leadership Panel Event, held in the JC Cinema on Tuesday, September 17, from 12:30 pm - 2:15 pm, Fairfax Campus, where students will have the opportunity to engage with Peraton Senior Leadership, many of who are also GMU alumni.

Note that there will be two sessions and students can choose to attend either one when they register:

  • Session 1: 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm
  • Session 2: 1:20 pm – 2:05 pm

Peraton has been awarded for their leadership development of female, female identifying, neurodivergent, and entry-level STEM talent. They hope to establish connections with students who have a passion for technology, problem-solving, and leadership. Students who attend the upcoming panel discussion will hear the company’s executives share insights into their leadership journeys, discuss key challenges in the field, and highlight the skills they value in the next generation of the STEM and Business workforce.

Panelists include:

  • Laila Salguero, Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Officer
  • Rosy Sultana, Software Engineer and Adjunct Professor in CS Dept at Mason
  • Stephanie Woolen, Talent Acquisition Senior Director
  • Szu Yang, Chief Contracts Office and Senior Vice President of Contracts, Quality, and Government Property

Registering for this event will provide a unique opportunity to learn directly from professionals about their internship opportunities and who their work shapes the future of national security and technology.

Lunch refreshments will be provided.
